Keyboard and wireless mouse not responding during windows boot up

I was wondering if anyone can help me? My keyboard and wireless mouse have decided to stop working, and this happens during windows loading screen. keyboard seems to work in BIOS mode. Spoke to Dell Support and they will charge £69 for one incident, which i think is a total rip off. I have a dell dimenson 9200.

Which is the keyboard & mouse you are using ?

You said they dont work during the boot up... what exactly you are referring to ?
Pressing F8 while whindows starts to load ?

I am also feeling the same problem but not while on booting actually I had wireless mouse and whenever I use to play game it get stuck in between and after some time it start working.
