Is Indian Traditional Dress Losing Importance ?
In past every state we have seen that people were very much habituated with their own traditional dress but in modern days we have so much habituated with western dress style now sometimes only in festival or in occasion we only wear such dress personally I don’t know how to wear even Dhoti.
Now traditional dress is a part of our culture but due to effect of globalization
do you think in near future this traditional dress (in each community) will get place in history?
Few Indian traditional dress of various community image

Everything changes with time.

That includes dressing, food, culture, language, habits, human behaviour.

And I am a firm believer that change in this regard is good indicator of a civilization going through an evolutionary cycle.

Yes as I said I am also believe in change but do you not think this change is coming too much in eastern world more precisely in third world country where influence of western culture are too much because of economical reason, where our society is making one big dig where they can give shelter our thousands year old culture.
Is not it ?
Yes I think what you mention thats correct also everything is changing so in near future not much cultural difference and language difference will be present in most of the part in world and it's not hard to guess that which culture and language will be present in future world or even in India also.

What is west and what is east when we talk of world this earth as one big village?

Frankly speaking east vs West debate is a ghost from our colonial past and not very relevant in the 21st Century.

Open your mind to new ideas regardless of their origin and you will know what I am talking about.

Furthermore: If the ideas need to be judged don't judge them based on their origin but judge them on merit.

Who known may be in 50 years people will look at our current fashion and not respond in the same way. May be they will be more tolerant than we have ever been.

Actually I am not talking about even eastern world I am talking about Indian dress not even entire east
As I believe that nation is the biggest priority even we want to be global person then also we have to be Indian first otherwise we will go far behind yes world can be a big village
then freedom fight was in the narrow eastern mentality movement of that time Indians ?
'Aunreg Bharat choro' of 1942 was the narrow mentality movement ? that time we should say to English man 'you can rule us but don't do torture us just modification needed ?'
will it correct ?
As I believe that if country is 'our' then 'we' will rule that.
'We' mean Indian there is noting wrong to protect our own country if we are not concern about us who will do that .Smile
Anyway i am going to far now I just want to say change is good even personal life I never wear 'dhoti' but this change is coming as normal or not ?

Traditional dress will soon be in museum. Western dress is more comfortable and travel friendly that dhoti.

You are taking this in a wrong way...I never said that our freedom struggle was because of narrow mentality of whatever.

I am only saying that what has happened has happened. Its time to move on.
